Designer Tracy discusses the effects of lighting on art in a gallery versus the space where the art will be mounted.  She also encouraged listeners to conquer the fear of making one's house (or space) one's own.  She described the need to design spaces to "grow up" in - accounting for all phases of life.  She and Joe discussed the idea of retrofitting existing objects to fit a particular need.  They discussed using the five senses, function and memory as design critera.
